Integrations

Open Integrations from the Overview toolbar or the File menu. Each integration adds columns, a tab and checks to the crawl you have open; nothing runs until you press its button.

Google Search Console and Analytics

Press Connect Google. A browser window asks for read-only access to Search Console and Analytics; the tokens are stored encrypted on your computer and Sitemoth's servers never see them. Pick a Search Console property (or let Sitemoth match it to the crawl) and a GA4 property, choose the window, and pull. URLs Google reports that the crawl never reached are added as "Not in crawl" rows so orphans with traffic are visible. During the beta, Google shows an "unverified app" screen on sign-in; choose Advanced → Continue.

Checks added: traffic to non-indexable or erroring pages, orphan pages with impressions or sessions, indexable pages with no impressions or sessions, low CTR at high impressions, striking-distance rankings (positions 4 to 15), query cannibalisation, low engagement.

PageSpeed Insights

Needs a Google API key (Google no longer serves anonymous requests). Create one in Google Cloud with the PageSpeed Insights API enabled and paste it in. Pages are analysed most-linked first; each takes 20 to 60 seconds on Google's side, so 100 pages on mobile is about an hour. You get the performance score, LCP, CLS, INP, FCP, TBT, Speed Index and TTFB from the lab run, Core Web Vitals field data where Google has it, and the Lighthouse opportunities per page.

Accessibility

Runs automatically when JavaScript rendering is on: axe-core audits each rendered page against WCAG 2.1 A and AA and best practices. The Accessibility tab lists violations by impact; the detail pane shows the rule, a link to the fix guide and an example element.

Spelling and grammar

Body text (navigation, footers, forms and code removed) is sent to a LanguageTool server. The public server allows roughly 20 pages a minute; for large sites run your own and set its address. Language is detected per page unless you fix one. Words flagged on three or more pages are treated as brand terms and ignored.

Command line

sitemoth google-login
sitemoth gsc crawl.sitemoth --days 90
sitemoth ga4 crawl.sitemoth --property properties/123456 --days 30
sitemoth pagespeed crawl.sitemoth --key YOUR_KEY --strategy mobile --max 50
sitemoth spelling crawl.sitemoth --max 100

Install with npm install -g sitemoth. The CLI reads the Google client from SITEMOTH_GOOGLE_CLIENT_ID and SITEMOTH_GOOGLE_CLIENT_SECRET; see docs/google-oauth-setup.md in the repository.
